Old for new. Creating a modern bar, restaurant and luxury B & B in an historic inn.
Situated on the banks of the River Wyre, the Cartford Inn is a luxury restaurant, bar and B & B in Garstang on the Fylde coast. Originally a 17th century coaching inn, the property is steeped in history with an eclectic mix of exposed timbers, reclaimed brick, stone walls and flooring.
Its restoration, using a wide range of our reclaimed building materials, to provide a destination B & B has resulted in a characterful makeover that embraces the old and the new. Wood and stone floors, reclaimed timber and brick walls, and timber detailing in various rooms creates a warm, multi-textured space with a deft use of our sensitively sourced products.
This is a good example of how our reclaimed building materials can help provide a sense of history in a building project which also has distinct architectural nods to contemporary design styling.
