A new life for old timber

Commissioned by Myriad Contracts this is a great example of where our comprehensive stock of reclaimed building materials, including reclaimed pitch pine boards were used for flooring, walling and ceilings in the fitout of a number of branches of the Hickory's Smokehouse restaurant and bar chain.

Inspired by the US

Inspired by their first road trip across the southern states of the US, Hickory’s Smokehouse restaurants have an unmistakable American vibe, with an extensive use of reclaimed timber for much of their interior. The overall look and feel is one of a US steak bar - large expanses of timber floors, wooden panelling and pine-clad ceilings, mixed with leather banquettes and bar stools.

This is a great example of how our extensive stocks of timbers, tiling and flooring enabled Hickory's to create their signature rustic steakhouse style across a growing estate, while giving each property its own unique look and feel. It’s all about conjuring up a welcoming multi-textured interior to create a family friendly atmosphere.
