A heritage restoration project starting with a very delicate roof

Working with contractors John Robinson, this fascinating restoration of an Arts & Crafts house in Broughton, Lancashire gave us, and them, a fantastic opportunity to draw on our extensive stock of heritage stone, reclaimed roofing tiles, walling and flooring.

The initial phase of the project required insulating and reinstating the cleaned clay roofing flags, and replacing broken ones. Given the very specific look and design of this building, precise product matching was essential to retain its distinctive features, while ensuring the building was fully weather-resistant.

This is a great example of how clients can use our Product Match service to check our current stock of products with the original materials used on their project.
